Crabtree scores hat trick in Lady Lions' 6-4 loss to North Lamar

North Lamar 6, Greenville 4

PARIS -- Freshman Maddy Crabtree scored a hat trick but the Greenville Lady Lions still dropped a 6-4 District 20-4A soccer match to the North Lamar Pantherettes on Friday night.

Crabtree put in her first goal with 31:30 left in the first half off an assist from Katelynn Twilley.

Crabtree scored an unassisted goal with 15:27 let in the first half.

Twilley racked up Greenville’s third goal with 3:54 left in the opening half off a penalty kick.

Crabtree produced another goal with 31:53 left with another assist from Twilley.

Greenville dropped to 9-4-1 for the season and 5-1-1 in district play.

The Lady Lions will trravel to Princeton for a 6 p.m. game on Tuesday.
