Heath throws perfect game against Lady Lions

GREENVILLE -- Chelsey Eddy pitched a perfect game as Rockwall-Heath opened District 10-4A softball play with a 20-0 victory over the Greenville Lady Lions on Tuesday at Monty Stratton Field.

Eddy struck out nine.

The Lady Hawks scored their 20 runs off 19 hits, one walk and nine Greenville errors.

Kaeligh Lutz went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead the Lady Hawks. Devin Edgemon also went 3-for-5 with two doubles.

The 6-3 Lady Lions will play again on Thursday in their own tournament, weather permitting.
